Mykhailo Kashkarov is a science-art artist. Creator of light-sensitive RGB painting and the SCI model as its theoretical foundation.

Mykhailo Kashkarov (b. 1976, Kharkiv) is a science-art artist and inventor. Born and shaped as an artist in Kharkiv, since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022 he has lived and worked in the Lviv region.
He encodes three independent visual narratives within a single physical canvas using his signature light-sensitive RGB painting technology. Depending on the spectrum of illumination — red, green or blue — the painting completely changes its content, turning passive viewing into a guided, interactive act.
The physical-mathematical foundation of this method is his own SCI (Spectral Channel Integrity) model. It describes the deterministic isolation of three pigment channels and is published in the international Zenodo research repository (2026).
Mykhailo is also the author of the patented kinetic construction "Kaskad". His works and installations have been exhibited at the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Landau Center, and the Repin Art Museum.

Information encoded into color and ornament. Each code is a work in its own right — readable by a dedicated app, but first of all an image.
Research paper (Zenodo, 2026): a method for turning text into an eight-fold symmetric black-and-white ornament that reads back losslessly. The scientific foundation of TAINA; supports a multi-layer RGB variant.
